Nice little spot that I like to stop by with the kids. The ice cream is delicious. The fry pies are a must to try. There's something for everyone here. Feed some unique birds or goats for .25. I have four kids, twin toddlers. And we all have fun whenever get we come here.
I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and went in with my skeptic hat on. Well, this place is fantastic!! They had everything I’ve been missing: chow chow, red beat eggs, shoo fly pie, rhubarb jam. You name it. The deli was also great (got the squash soup). Very friendly place. Make sure you go if you are nearby, especially if you are from PA and missing home.
Excellent selection, customer service and location. Roomier aisles and ample parking at this new store. I loved their baked and baking selections. It's a beautiful day trip from just about anywhere in VA, but we go to get our annual fruitcake ingredients which I can't find anywhere else!
Wonderful little market. Excellent products. My wife and I make the trip three or four times a year to shop there. Our grandson likes the animals there as well.
Wow, best Mennonite/Amish market I've ever been to! The selection of bulk herbs and baking goods were remarkable. Interestingly, there were children's books from the 60's and a huge Bible selection. Some people would love that, I'm sure. We liked the petting zoo out back. Very fun with the baby.
