I told her I was very sorry to have disturbed her day and left. On my way out I noticed the gas station she mentioned which was on the other side of the interstate...

Quiet campground. Shady spots. Kids must ride bikes with helmets (not a problem). Spacious pool. Nice playground area for kids. 3 washers and dryers. Laundry room is open 24 hours. Bathrooms are old, but very well taken care of and clean!! Bathroom and laundry area is well lit at night. Only improvement I could suggest is the tile above the water line in the pool needs replacing. We have stayed here many times! Verizon and Sprint internet work here.

Now I want to mention that my motorcycle has the stock exhaust and is extremely quiet, no louder than a normal car. Also I was in a parking lot no where near the camping area.

I stayed at the campground for the month of July. Loved it! Nice quiet wooded setting, campfire rings and picnic table at each site. Only about 35 minutes from Shenandoah NP too. There was a fantastic pancake breakfast one weekend (biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs if you don't like the other items, juice, coffee, thick sliced bacon, and two types of sausage). Can't beat it for $5. There was an ice cream social also and they had hay/wagon rides on the holiday weekend. Super nice people here. The bad reviews seem to be the people who don't read the rules or read them, and then decide to ignore them. All campgrounds have rules, people! Most are for insurance and safety purposes. Sadly, common sense is lacking these days. And to be allowed to leave a review based on an impression without even camping here is just ridiculous. Love this place and I WILL be back!

We stayed 1 night. Very friendly; nice staff. Our pull thru sight was just fine. We were thankful they let us come for just 1 night on July 4 weekend. Most places wouldn't. A very nice stop

I can't remember ever being treated so rudely

A few weeks ago I was riding my motorcycle across the fine state of Virginia when I needed to stop briefly to send a text message. I pulled off the interstate into the parking lot off what appeared to be a nice quaint camp ground.

If you are looking for a rowdy time... find some place else. Folks are polite and place is clean. Very quiet. I don't know what else you would want.

by a stranger, especially someone in the hospitality business. I highly recommend taking your business somewhere else especially if you are on a motorcycle.

Very nice!

I was in the parking lot for less than a minute and putting my gloves back on when a older lady came out of a nearby house. I politely said I was fine just needed to check my phone (I assumed she was asking if I needed directions, was checking in, etc) she kept walking towards me and talking so I turned my music off so I could hear her. She asked my if I normally checked my phone in camp grounds and told me there was a gas station nearby.
